Agios Nikitas Lefkada

This beautiful village of Agios Nikitas, is tucked away on the west coast, and is one of Lefkas' (Lefkada) most attractive resort, grown from a tiny fishing village. The surrounding area is wonderful, with steep hills and valleys covered in olive and pine trees, leading down to beautiful beaches and crystal clear waters.

The village of Agios Nikitas is close to several superb beaches as well as having it's own small beach.
To the north of the village is Pefkoulia Beach, otherwise known as Ag. Nikitas Beach, which can easily be reached along the main road to Lefkas Town. This is long wide strip of course sand backed by shady pine trees. A picturesque setting.

Just along the coast is the famous idyllic beach of Kathisma and is a great place to watch the sun go down.

To the south of Agios Nikitas, can be found the famous beach of Milos, named after the ruined mill on the headland which overlooks it. This beach is one of the best on the Island, is fairly quiet, and clothing restrictions are 'relaxed.'

Most of the tavernas are located on the main road of Agios Nikitas. The main road runs down to the beach and is traffic free.

The village consists of one main street down to the beach and is lined by many restaurants and tavernas, and small mini markets and souvenir shops.
Most of the street is pedestrianised therefore making shopping a real treat.
